I took a trip to Sapporo, Hokkaido three weeks ago. That was third time to visit Sapporo. First time was when I was a high school student. Second time was about fifteen years ago. It's been a while to visit Sapporo.   I went to Sapporo by airplane from Narita airport. It takes about one hour to get to Narita airport from Tokyo station by bus. And It takes about one hour and a half to get to Shin-Chitose airport in Hokkaido from Narita by airplane. We usually use train from Shin-Chitose airport to Sapporo station.  Hokkaido is north part in Japan, so it's cooler in Hokkaido than in Tokyo. In winter there is much snow in Hokkaido. Every year early February Sapporo Snow Festival is held in Sapporo. I've never seen that festival yet. I'm so sorry for no Sapporo Snow Festival this year because of covid-19 pandemic.   I stayed in Raffinato Sapporo Hotel near Susukino area where there are many restaurants, bars, night clubs like Kabukicho in Tokyo.
